Stradbroke & District Pre School

FEES AND FREE PLACES

FEES

Pre-school session 9.00am – 11.30am - £5.50 per session for children under 3yrs.

See details below for free places.

Lunch club session 11.30am – 1.00pm - £3.00 per session for children who are still pre-school age

Lunch club session 11.55am – 1.00pm - £2.50 per session for children who have started primary school part-time.

Pre-school session fees are paid termly in advance.  The treasurer will issue an invoice at the start of the term detailing the amount for your child (if applicable).  If you would like to pay weekly, then this can be arranged with the Treasurer.  Payment is still due for any pre-booked session that a child is unable to attend because the payment is for the place and not whether the child attends or not. Refunds are not permitted.

Lunch club session fees can be paid at the beginning of each week, or on the day as required.

FREE PLACES FOR THREE AND FOUR YEAR OLD CHILDREN

As a member of the Suffolk Early Years Partnership children are entitled to a free place (in line with the government funding).  Currently, children receive a free place from the term after their 3rd birthday.   They are entitled to 5 X 2½ hour sessions of childcare per week.  If they attend another childcare provider (e.g. nursery) you need to decide which childcare provider is being used for the free sessions or how many free sessions are to be used for each provider up to a maximum of 5.  Please see the current supervisor to confirm these details as they may be subject to change.

LUNCH CLUB

We offer children the opportunity to bring in a packed lunch and stay for the lunch club.  Lunch club is offered everyday (subject to demand).  A quiet area is provided for children to rest after lunch and informal activities are arranged during this period.  Children who start at the primary school part time are welcome to come along to the lunch club when they finish school at 11:55am.

REFRESHMENTS

The pre-school makes snacks and lunchtime a social time at which children and adults eat together.  We plan snacks so that they are healthy and nutritious.  If you wish to provide your child with their own drink for snack time please hand this to the staff on arrival.  We do not allow children to have sweets at Pre-school.  Parents must inform the staff if their child has or develops any allergies, or if the child is likely to react to colourings or e-numbers.  Staff will take these allergies into consideration when offering refreshments.
